Moving forward to advance research goals is becoming increasingly difficult in this era of decreasing budgets and greater uncertainty about future funds. Operating in this environment requires hard work and innovative ways of looking for research opportunities. More than ever, scientists explore less traditional sources of funding to start new research projects.
The following site is dedicated to SOT members globally as part of our strategic goal of advancing the science of toxicology and building for the future of toxicology. The following includes a listing of US government and international agencies that provide funding for scientific research. The site is dynamic, meaning that new sources of funding will be added as they become known.
Also, as part of our goal to ensure the future of toxicology, we are asking members of join a special community so that toxicologists can exchange tips and information on funding sources and completing applications for grants and fellowships. Please help us by joining the Research Funding Community and providing your insights about new opportunities. Sharing our expertise collectively will only enhance our chances of obtaining scarce research dollars.
