SOT Appreciates the Generous Contributions of the Annual Meeting Sponsors.

Sponsorship Information

Sponsorship serves as visible evidence of an organization’s commitment to the Society’s mission of “creating a safer and healthier world by advancing the science of toxicology.” Moreover, sponsorship provides an opportunity for private, public, and not-for-profit organizations to increase overall awareness of their services and programs to SOT members and Annual Meeting attendees.

Sponsors are listed in publications related to the Annual Meeting, including the Preliminary Program, final Program, pre- and postmeeting newsletters, and the ToxExpo Directory. In addition, Annual Meeting Sponsors are listed on the SOT Annual Meeting website, an essential go-to source of information for all registrants. During the Annual Meeting, acknowledgement signs, which group sponsors by the level of giving, are displayed prominently at many of the SOT functions, and Annual Meeting Sponsor listings are included in the SOT presentations in all session rooms. In appreciation for their support of the Society, sponsors are invited to the SOT President’s Reception.

There are five levels of sponsorship available, as follows:

• Diamond ($10,000 or more)
• Platinum ($5,000–$9,999)
• Gold ($2,500–$4,999)
• Silver ($2,000–$2,499)
• Contributor ($1,000–$1,999)

In 2011, several new benefits were made available to Diamond Level Sponsors, and will continue again this year. Please see Diamond Sponsor benefits below for details.

Diamond Level Sponsor—$10,000 or more

Enhanced Diamond Sponsor Benefits:

• Special Diamond Level acknowledgement signage in your booth at ToxExpo
• Prize Drawing Box in your booth at ToxExpo for the SOT Prize Drawings—one $500 Prize awarded per day during the show—SOT supplies the cash, you get the traffic as attendees stop by your booth to drop their business cards in the box!
• “Annual Meeting Sponsor Acknowledgements” will be sent by SOT to Annual Meeting Registrants via email highlighting the name, logo, and a web link to a description of each Diamond Level Sponsor
• Complimentary Annual Meeting Security Assessment Report provided by INA Security

• Acknowledgment through signage at the Annual Meeting
• Three Sponsor badge ribbons
• Three invitations to the President’s Reception
• Photograph with SOT President and Council Members to be arranged
• Printed recognition in the SOT Preliminary Program, Annual Meeting Program, and ToxExpo Directory
• Right to host an Exhibitor/Sponsor Hosted Session in conjunction with the Annual Meeting
• Right to host a cocktail party or a lunch (or other event not competing with those of the Society); Sponsor is responsible for catering costs

Gold Level Sponsor—$2,500–$4,999

• Visual acknowledgment at the Awards Ceremony
• Announcement in the Special Edition SOT Communiqué Newsletter
• Acknowledgment through signage at the Annual Meeting
• Two Sponsor badge ribbons
• Two invitations to the President’s Reception
• Printed recognition in the SOT Preliminary Program, Annual Meeting Program, and ToxExpo Directory
• Right to host an Exhibitor/Sponsor Hosted Session in conjunction with the Annual Meeting
• Right to host a cocktail party or a lunch (or other event not competing with those of the Society); extra catering costs to be covered by the Sponsor

Silver Level Sponsor—$2,000–$2,499

• Announcement in the Special Edition SOT Communiqué Newsletter
• Acknowledgment through signage on-site
• One Sponsor badge ribbon
• One invitation to the President’s Reception
• Printed recognition in the SOT Preliminary Program, final Program, and ToxExpo Directory
• Listing on SOT Annual Meeting website
• Right to host an Exhibitor/Sponsor Hosted Session in conjunction with the Annual Meeting
• Right to host a cocktail party or a lunch (or other event not competing with those of the Society); catering costs to be covered by the Sponsor

Contributor Level Sponsor—$1,000–$1,999

• Announcement in the Special Edition SOT Communiqué Newsletter
• One Sponsor badge ribbon
• Printed recognition in the SOT Preliminary Program, final Program, and ToxExpo Directory
• Listing on SOT Annual Meeting website
• Right to host a cocktail party or a lunch (or other event not competing with those of the Society); catering costs to be covered by the Sponsor

Your sponsorship helps SOT keep registration fees low thereby enabling the Society to attract over 7,500 anticipated attendees to the Annual Meeting. Your sponsorship also will help offset the cost of functions such as the: Minority Student Program, Undergraduate Program, Student/Postdoctoral Scholar events, Continuing Education Program, Public Outreach, and the Welcoming Reception.
