On-line and Early Bird Registration is strongly encouraged. The Annual Meeting Early Bird Registration deadline is January 21, 2011. The registration fee for the SOT Annual Meeting includes admission to all Scientific Sessions, Award Presentations, ToxExpo™, a copy of the Program, The Toxicologist on CD-ROM (abstracts), and the ToxExpo™ Directory.
Registration Materials
Register before January 21, 2011, and your badge, Program, and The Toxicologist on CD-ROM will be sent to you prior to the Annual Meeting. Your 2011 Annual Meeting registration badge must be presented to obtain access to any SOT functions.
When you arrive at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, please go to the registration area to pick up your ToxExpo™ Directory and registration badge. If you already have your registration badge and Continuing Education (CE) Course tickets, there is no need to stand in a registration line. Simply stop by the handout table in the registration area and present your badge to obtain the other registration materials (i.e., The Toxicologist on CD-ROM, the ToxExpo™ Directory, and other supplementary materials).
On-Line Registration
SOT Members and Non-Members are invited to register for the 2011 SOT Annual Meeting using SOTs On-Line Registration System. The system is designed for those who will be paying their registration fee by credit card and who have access to the Internet.

Forms will be date-stamped as they arrive. This is your date of registration. Faxes will be accepted by SOT Headquarters at 703.438.3113, only if a credit card number is clearly listed in the appropriate area.
NOTE: To prevent double-billing, if you are registering by fax, DO NOT mail your original registration form. SOT needs only one copy for processing. All mailed and faxed registration forms will be processed on-line by SOT staff.
Registration Confirmation
You should receive a registration confirmation via e-mail, whether you register directly on-line or if you have sent your registration form to SOT Headquarters via the mail or by fax. If you don’t receive your confirmation within 2 weeks, please contact SOT Headquarters or call 703.438.3115.

DO NOT mail your registration form to SOT if it will arrive after February 25, 2011. SOT will accept faxed and/or mailed Annual Meeting registrations until February 25. After February 25, registrations not processed on-line will only be accepted on-site at the Annual Meeting. The on-line registration system will be open throughout the meeting and if you register on-line after February 25, 2011, you can easily pick up your badge at the “Badge Pick Up Only” registration counter.
One-Day Registration
There is no reduced fee for one-day registration.
Tickets
Tickets for CE Courses and other events may be required. These tickets will be issued with your meeting badge. You must be registered for the meeting in order to participate in a CE Course or a Special Event.
Confirmation
You will be mailed a registration confirmation, name badge and CE Course and/or event ticket(s) before the meeting if your registration form is received by January 21, 2011. If registration is required after January 21, you can pick up your badge and tickets at the registration counters on-site.
Cancellation Refund Policy
All requests for cancellations and/or refunds must be received in writing to SOT Headquarters by February 11, 2011. These refunds will be processed, less a $50 fee, following the Annual Meeting. Refund requests received after February 11, 2011, will not be processed.

Participants are also encouraged to register for the Continuing Education Courses. These are available during three time intervals on Sunday, March 6 Sunrise Mini-Course from 7:00 AM–7:45 AM, AM Courses are 8:15 AM–12:00 NOON, and PM Courses are from 1:15 PM–5:00 PM.
CE Course Registration
For your convenience, you can register for Continuing Education (CE) Courses at the same time as registering for the Annual Meeting. If you have already registered for the Annual Meeting you will have to use the Mail or Fax Registration Form to registered for Continuing Education Courses.
Developing Countries Registration
There is a 50% reduced registration fee for Non-member registrants from developing countries.

Guest Registration
Guest (non-scientist) registration is not available on-line. Guests must register by mail or fax on the same form as the person they are accompanying. If the person they are accompanying is already registered, they must use the Guest Registration Form and mail or fax it to SOT Headquarters along with a copy of the confirmation of the person they are accompanying. Guests are welcome to attend the Welcoming Reception, but will not have access to the scientific sessions or the Exhibit Hall. Reminder: Children under the age of 15 are not permitted in the Exhibit Hall.
The SOT Guest Hospitality Center provides guest participants with a place to meet and socialize with other guests. The Center will be open Sunday through Thursday and information on local attractions, rental cars, and tours will be available there.
Guests must be registered for the Annual Meeting to access the Hospitality Center.
