Perchlorate Symposium—March 2008

Symposium: Perchlorate Exposures, Iodine Modulation of Effect, and Epidemiologic Associations: Implications for Risk Assessment.

When: March 20, 1 to 4:30 PM and March 21, 9 AM to 3:30 PM.

Where: Seattle Sheraton Hotel.

Overview: The focus of the symposium is on new clinical and epidemiologic data and analyses. In addition, recent discoveries on natural perchlorate in the hydrologic cycle will be reviewed. Evidence for and against the attribution of causality to a given epidemiologic association will be examined. Sessions with audience participation are planned for the afternoons of both days.
